McGregor has a number of different eateries, mostly open over the weekend and late in the week. , it's adviseable to call ahead to avoid disappointment. Opening times listed below, are subject to change at short notice, so it's sensible to phone ahead.

McGregor's almost blink-and-you-will-miss-it market pops up every Saturday morning. Trading starts at 09h00 sharp, ending anywhere between 10h00 and 11h00, depending on the weather and the number of people (customers and stalls).
Lady Grey Restaurant
Superb South African country cuisine is on offer at the on site restaurant at Lord's Guest Lodge.

Tebaldi's is McGregor's longest standing restaurant, located at Temenos Retreat at the corner of Voortrekker and Bree streets.
Diners can be seated either in the front garden, under the trees, in the pretty resturaunt, or on the shady veranda at the back.

Fat Lady's Arms
A new addition to the McGregor offering sees the welcome return of Kurt and Andre Middleton le Roux, the original founders of Karoux. Their new establishment offers casual fare - mostly pizzas and when licesed, there will be a cosy pub. 44 Voortrekker Road.

The restaurant at the Dpnkey Sanctuary 5km outside McGregor on the Robertson road is open at the end of the week for brunch and lunch.

The Sandbag House
